a voi

riporto alcune note di chi lo ha messo sul gruppo fb science of running

• Both 1500m and 800m runners performed ~500 training sessions a year (500-600 hrs/year).

• Running accounted for 90% of 1500m of total sessions but only 70%-80% of total sessions for 800m runners, as they performed more strength, power, plyo training.

• Intensity distribution (Easy/Hard) was 80/20 for 1500m but 70/30 - 60/40 for 800m runners with 800m runners performing more high intensive sessions more frequently but time/distance (volume) of intensity kept short due to longer recovery intervals which accompany this type work.

• 1500m & 800m did Short Sprint Training (SST) regularly year-round with 800m doing a larger degree than 1500m.

• "A review of the best practice literature reveals that most world-class middle-distance runners perform regular strength, power and plyometric training as a supplement to their specific running conditioning.

nell´abstract dice:

Penso lo abbia tratto dal paragrafo 6.3 Intensity Distribution

Comunque il contare in sessioni a me non garba moltissimo come metodo, ma forse qui ha senso. Non so
